Etiquette

Stupid title for the post, but please, someone tell me the reasoning behind this. Why, in an empty computer lab do people feel that they should plunk down at the computer next to you even though there are plenty of other ones turned on and the one beside you isn't??????????? Gah. Stupid people. Oh bonus. I just ran into a guy who thinks he is on the flippin top of the world. He is good looking but darnit he never forgets it. He's got this way about him that makes me feel like a speck of dust. And his nose is always in the flippin air. I mean, come on. Come back to earth for a while.

la de da

Another early morning. I hate being the first one here in the morning. Sigh. I am back in Charlottetown and just taking a quick break from my Word Processing project. In theory, I wanted to finish the whole thing by the end of April, and that is fast approaching. Next week it will be May... Ahhh! So, I am working my ass off to finish as much of it as possible today, and Friday, I'll do as many of the tests as I can... fun. There is hardly anyone here today at all... Heading up to the library in a bit to finish off some loose ends that I just haven't got around to finishing. Leaving slightly early... 4:20 instead of 4:45. Hey, I'll take what I can get.

Hey, how come it doesn't see to matter if I eat a little or a big breakfast, I am always hungry around 10ish.. hmmm... strange.

Quick Update

We are in the middle of renovating the kitchen. Yay that it is finally getting done. Boo that there is an ungodly amount of everything everywhere. Can't turn around without stepping on a microwave or canned food :P They took out all of the old cupboards today, and the new ones are being installed on Monday... and Tuesday... and Wednesday. Um. Supposed to go to Moncton today but ended up going to Charlottetown this morning instead and did some (very little) shopping. Lunch at Pat and Willy's mmm. Last time me and Mark went there for dessert I decided that the next time I came, I would try the crepes, and they were sooooo good. I totally recommend them.

Work-wise. Well, started transcribing last week. I did two half days, and I will be going back this week. OJT is winding down... I only have 4 weeks left I think (I started with 13).

School-wise. I don't want to talk about it. I am losing interest in being there, ever since I found out that I will have to go back in the fall. Something about the possibililty of getting a new certificate, and while I am here paying the tuition I want to get every certification that I can possibly get.

Amanda's birthday was this week and Mark is leaving for QUebec and then Ottawa in 2 weeks time, so we were gonna get a bunch together and do a kind-of birthday/good-bye thing. Plans weren't jiving tho, so we're getting everyone to plan on next week...

Anyway that's enough for now. Lata.

Don't know where I'll go... or what I'll do...

Friggin snow is back again this morning. Schools were cancelled, and HC was delayed. UPEI, of course, was open. I am ready for summer.

Except.

Sigh. It's that time again. Trying to figure out what the summer will bring. I have to make some decisions. I don't know if I will have the opportunity to work in Summerside as I had previously anticipated. I am going to apply for that job at the University -- who knows, I might surprise myself, and get it. Plus, I have a nagging feeling at the back of my head that I will be of some help at the dairy bar sometime in the next month or two.

I'd love to get on at the QEH doing transcribiing but I am doubting that will work out. But hey, we shall see what the next couple of months bring.

In the process of getting a passport, since they are making it necessary to have one to get into the states... I would really like to go down to Maine and live and work there for a while...

Finally have some extra cash -- debating on where to spend it. I would like to take a trip somewhere, but I am still deciding. Update when I have some definite decisions. I was going to go with Misty and April to Mississauga the first of June, but that fell through fairly recently, so I don't know what I will do travel-wise.

Totally frustrated with my course at the moment. Argh. I just feel so swamped, I wish I hadn't planned on being done by the summer... On the bright side, I only have 4.5 weeks of on-the-job-training left... yes, ladies and gentlemen, i am definitely getting good at taking your blood pressure, etc. Now, if only they will let mr try my hand in the transcribing area...

Unwanted :P

So I show up at work this morning, and there is nothing to do. Neither one of the doctors was in, and everything was caught up. We looked for someone else that I could put in the day with, but they were in the same position. Lol. So I offered to come in tomorrow, instead, when both of the doctors will be in and we will be busy. And then I had to come to Charlottetown. I feel like I am stuck in quicksand, and that I can't get out, I just keep sinking further and further into it. My progress review in on Friday at 2 in the afternoon. Here's my "week" plans. This afternoon... write med filing assessment... Tuesday... OJT... Wednesday... OJT... Thursday... hand in pharmacology assignment... Friday... progress review... planes and regions assessment... Hopefully sometime in there my tax money will come. *Cross your fingers* I called Friday and it was processed so now it's just a matter of time before I get it.. yay!! And the job-hunt is still on. I have no clue what will be going on this summer... As long as I have SOMETHING,I guess I won't be too upset...
